£6m Windsor Park deal for Sodexo

Catering firm, Sodexo, has signed a £6m contract with the new Windsor Park stadium in Belfast.

The company will provide food and beverage, retail and hospitality services at the venue as part of a five-year deal. It will also sell conference and event facilities through its Sodexo Prestige Venues and Events division.

The national football stadium has been enlarged following redevelopment works last year and now boasts more than 18,000 seats and four main function suites as well as 10 executive boxes, a museum, event spaces a press room and a players’ lounge. All of these facilities will come under Sodexo’s remit.

David Trotter, account director at Sodexo Sports and Leisure, says this is a fantastic opportunity for Sodexo to take its hospitality and events experience to Northern Ireland:
