Crescent Link in Londonderry– Northern Ireland’s second largest retail park – has expanded its hospitality offering with the opening of a branch of popular family restaurant, Frankie & Benny’s.

The 3600 sq ft restaurant, which is the sixth Frankie & Benny’s to open in Northern Ireland, represents an investment of £1m by the chain and brings 65 new jobs to the area.

Famed for its American/Italian 50s-themed menu, Frankie & Benny’s adds to the range of dining and entertainment options already available in the 260,000 sq ft retail park, which attracts an average of 80,000 visitors each week.

Alastair Coulson, director of asset management for The Lotus Group, which manages Crescent Link, said that he was delighted to welcome the chain to the retail park:

“Crescent Link has earned a reputation for diversity and choice and this new addition will help broaden its appeal to both the local community and to our many visitors who travel from across Northern Ireland and Donegal,” he said recently.

And Andy Smith, general manager of Frankie & Benny’s added: “ As a strongly family-focused restaurant Frankie & Benny’s will complement the retail park, bringing further choice, convenience and value to regular and new visitors.

“We very much look forward to introducing our unique dining experience to all our new customers across the North West.”
