Freshii to create 100 jobs with 10 new NI stores

Global healthy eating fast food chain, Freshii, is to create 100 jobs as it aims to open 10 stores in Northern Ireland.

The innovative food-to-go specialist held a launch event for its first Northern Ireland store in Donegall Square West, Belfast, on April 26, where CEO of Freshii Ireland Dave O’Donoghue revealed details of the brand’s NI ambitions.

Following the opening of the city centre “anchor store”, Mr O’Donoghue said the chain’s NI franchisee planned to open nine more stores in shopping centres and major towns in Northern Ireland, creating over 100 full and part-time jobs.

The next Freshii will open in Callender Street, a short distance from their Donegal Square West outlet.

NI will soon see a third store in The Quays Shopping Centre, Newry during the summer.

Freshii is one of the fast-growing restaurant brands in the world, serving a healthy and customisable menu built around high-quality fresh ingredients.

It offers a diverse menu including breakfast, tossed salads, hot bowls, burritos, healthy wraps, soups, fresh pressed juices, smoothies and frozen yogurt, that energise people on the go, served in an eco-friendly environment.

Freshii meal choices are based on fibre-rich, slow-burning carbs, essential fats and lean proteins.  With over 70 ingredients and homemade salad dressings made fresh daily, Freshii makes clean eating approachable and flavourful.

Freshii also caters for every dietary and taste bud preference including paleo, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free and wheat free.

Freshii’s first Irish outlet opened in Dublin’s CHQ Building, with outlets following in the M1 Applegreen at Lusk, Enfield West Applegreen, Mespil Road – Dublin 4, Arnott’s Store  – Dublin 1 and Trinity College Dublin.

Further Irish outlets are to open throughout 2017.
