2017 Restaurant of the Year

2017 Restaurant of the Year

This is a popular category that’s open to any of Northern Ireland’s restaurants.

In terms of the food itself, it can be simple or elaborate, but judges will be looking for dishes that are based on the finest, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented and tasting superb.

Each entrant to this category will also be judged across all aspects of services and facilities with particular emphasis on the food and service offering.  Judges will be looking for an uncompromising commitment to quality, a varied and innovative menu and the highest standards of customer service.

This category will be judged by mystery diner. Entrants into this category will be required to provide a complimentary voucher for a meal.

Since its humble beginnings nearly 70 years ago when the company was founded by Bobby Lynas, Lynas Foodservice has been dedicated to service.

The aim is simple, to serve the customer with the best product and the best service possible. That vision has seen the firm evolve into the largest family-operated foodservice company in Ireland.

The team of more than 420 staff is passionate about delivering more in everything it does, be that more service, more choice or more quality.

Lynas Foodservice, through three generations of the Lynas family, now has more than 5,000 customers, offering them more than 5,500 products. An all-Ireland company, it offers its customer all their frozen, chilled, ambient and non-food orders on one invoice with one delivery.
