Magic at Magners Race Evening

The Magners July Race Evening had racegoers descending on Down Royal in their droves recently.  The longer hours of daylight in summer provide the perfect opportunity to socialise with friends while enjoying a refreshingly chilled Magners Original Irish Cider and racing late into the evening.

Tennent’s NI took the opportunity to let hospitality guests sample new Magners Forbidden Flavours of Strawberry & Lime and Cloudy Lemon.

On the track, Chris Hayes rode Annagh Haven to victory in the Magners Irish Cider Fillies Handicap at Down Royal.  Meanwhile Joseph O’Brien rode to victory on Order of St George in the feature race, Her Majesty’s Plate, completing a third win of the race for trainer Aidan O’Brien in recent years.
