New club opens at Dunbar Street

A new nightclub has opened at Dunbar Street in Belfast in premises formerly occupied by Mynt, which closed its doors in 2013

The new club, called Villa, opened in the middle of this month following an investment of £750,000 and creating around 90 full and part-time jobs.

The site has undergone extensive refurbishment and now spans three floors with an impressive 18 VIP booths as well as an exclusive ‘Trophy Room’.

Villa is open five nights each week and there are student nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, while at weekends it has an exclusive club spot for over 21s.

Speaking about the launch of Villa, marketing manager, Paulo Reyes, said that he felt it was “a welcome addition” to the city’s Cathedral Quarter offering

“The venue has seen a significant financial investment and the team has spent months ensuring Villa’s offering is high-end, unique and exactly what our customers are looking for,” he added. “The design and layout is cool and quirky with and industrial and minimalist interior whilst maintaining a luxury feel and we’re very happy to be up and running.”

The nightclub launched with an event for friends and family on March 21 ahead of a grand opening the following evening.
